Raw Vegan Smoked Salmon
2.5 cups carrot pulp
¼ white onion finely chopped
1 Tbsp capers crushed
1.5 tsp dulse flakes
Juice of ½ small lemon
3 Tbsp olive oil
2-3 Tbsp maple syrup
4 splashes of liquid smoke
Salt to taste

    The oceans and planet aren’t dying; they’re being KILLED. I think that’s
    the worst thing about it. Personally, I found fish and other sea animals
    one of the easier things to give up when I went vegan (esp. considering I
    had been a pescetarian as a teenager; old shame). While I haven’t had the
    desire to try any vegan versions of seafood dishes, it’s always interesting
    to see how other people make it.

    Being vegan was the best choice I have ever made. It has taught me how to
    cook as well as so many other things. I just ate half a block of sautéed
    tofu seasoned with salt pepper and garlic and a side of zucchini, rice,
    beans and a cup of soy milk.

    Vegan Karma, here’s a story that you might find interesting and satisfying:
    last weekend I went to the eastern district camporee (a camp out with over
    ten Boy Scout troops competing in various events) after the events finish,
    we have the afternoon to do different activities. One of those activities
    was a “scoutathlon,” a four mile timed obstacle course. Everyone in my
    troop made fun of me because I was vegan and said I had no strength or
    endurance and I would never finish the course. I started ten minutes after
    one of the kids who made fun of me and passed him halfway through the race.
    Not only did i get a late start but I came in second place beating 3rd by
    over 30 minutes and beating him by 47. He was infuriated when he came back
    to camp after the race and saw me chilling by the camp fire. He was PISSED
    when I told him my time, 2:29. You could see the greed and anger in his
    eyes. He just spent the rest of the day butthurt refusing to talk to me.

    U ppl are crazy. Duh huhhhh salmon is 1/2 fat and increases obesity HAHA.
    Yeah, if you call mono fats that are like the kind you find in plants I
    guess. Eggs, salmon are my staple meats. Bread increases obesity, and the
    protein/fats in it are trash in comparison. Beans, nuts r gud. Still make u
    fat lol. N uhh yeah, I like eating lot of veggies, but feel like you lack
    energy if you never have meat. Beans n sweet potatoes are the only veggies
    that have any value for energy. Duhrr, vegan protein is incomplete.
